When using zSecure you may want to hide menu elements you don't use. Your shop might not have IMS or ACF2, so having those options displayed on the menu creates unnecessary noise. In this example we will go through the scenario of not needing ACF2 administration and removing its option from the main menu.
When configuring the zSecure menu there's two ways you can go about it. You can either customize your own menu, which won't apply to other users of zSecure, or you can change the system defaults which will apply to everyone using the system.
To customize your own type in SE.N on the zSecure panel. SE is the setup menu and N is national language settings.
Now you will get to this menu where you can customize the menu for each language. In this case our business language is English so we'll leave it at 1 for language and for action we'll put in 4.
Now you will get to this menu, here we can actually put in what we want to delete.
We want to get rid of ACF2, so we'll put a "d" for delete next to it and press enter/ctrl. You can put "d" in front of multiple options if you want to delete multiple options at the same time.
Since we put in a "d" it'll already be set to the delete option, which is exactly what we want, hit enter/ctrl again.
Remove the slashes in front of each option and hit enter/ctrl. Then you can exit out to the main menu with F3.
Now ACF2 administration option is completely gone from the main menu. There's still some ACF2 options in the other menus because we didn't delete those.
If you want to do a system wide configuration change to the menu you can instead of typing SE.N type in SE.D.N, "D" is for system default in this case and the n is once again for language settings.
The process is exactly the same except that this time it will warn you that it will affect all users and reset any personal settings they might have. It's best not to change this often, especially if a lot of people will be using zSecure.
